Fritz Steinegger is certaily one of the most sucessful and talented classical pianist this day. In a time where classical music is only for the very, very few people who appreciate it, Fritz Steinegger shows the world pure talent and outstanding showmanship. Even those who do not usually apreciate this kind of music will certainly notice the livelyness and as if the songs were not only played but as if they were brought back alive.
His interpretation of Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca is one of the most beautiful I have ever heard. As a critic of classical musicians I must say that his virtuosity is the greatest I have seen in many years. However, in Beethoven's sonata, I was not able to apreciate his own interpretation of the famous concerto. Some parts were played too fast and others were too slow, but on the whole, the work is majestic. There was grace in it.
For the very few that appreciate classical music, it is a must to hear this brillant man.
